Volume 15 of a series of 20 releases. Installments were not released in chronological order; this volume was the 6th to be released.
Hardcover book in Japanese order (“back-to-front”), 22 pages, with record sleeve in back cover.
This installment covers the years Showa 28 and 29 (1953-1954).
Side 1 is stereo and consists of re-recordings by contemporary artists; side 2 is mono and consists of period recordings.
The book has sections on Southern Hokkaido, the history of radio and TV broadcasting in Japan, a long historical article, lyrics to the songs and liner notes, and biographies of the principal musical artists from that period.
Some inconsistencies: the label has track A5 as 黒百合の唄 and A6 as 高原列車はゆく.
